"Stay, here are you nuts?" Bobbi nearly yelled when she found out what dumb and dumber were up to thankfully the two managed to get out of the way just before the truck came through the front door. "I'm sending back up, she'll be there soon, just keep them busy until then." Orcale replied, not telling them the backup was actually her and they were nearly there already. Babs told Zinda to keep an eye on Natasha while she went to change into her new batsuit. It was a lot more like Bruce's having dropped the yellow and made the eye holes smaller so she could use different lenses much like Bruce does. Its made using her new computer easier when out in the field. "Keep the engine running I'll be back." She opened the side door before jumping out to the rooftop below for once she didn't have to worry about breaking any bones thanks to the 5-U-93-R and with her tinkering with one it gave her her legs back. Jumping off the roof down into an alley Batgirl stuck to the shadows to get closer to Natasha when close enough, she pulled out a Bat-Dart throws it at the back of Natasha's neck if it hit she'd be asleep soon leaving only Winter Solider to deal with.
Sticking in the shadow's Batgirl made her way into the building everything Bruce had taught her came in handy when while she moved about not making a sound she didn't want anyone to know she was there yet. Pulling out a small device turned it on before throwing it towards Bucky landing near him it wasn't long after she tossed it that something started to happen bats began flying in towards Winter Soldier a whole swarm of them actually began to fly around the man attracted to the sonic bat-beacon. While the bat's kept him busy Batgirl made her way around to the girls who were glued to the floor. Pulling out a small device she used it to freeze the glue allowing them to break free. "I'll deal with twinkle toes here the ballerina is probably asleep in the street." Bobbi headed out the hole leaving the other two inside. "Come out come where ever you are Natasha you and I need to have words." She wasn't expecting the redhead to say anything because if the batlady was right she'd be asleep but if not she'd probably be staggering around like a newborn elephant. Did she just call Natasha fat? Maybe. But after all this crap she could do that because the urge to punch her in the face until she couldn't see straight was really high. It wasn't long before she realized her side was bleeding something must have hit her when the truck came in. "Damnit." Hopefully Natasha was out or too out of it to be much of a problem.

The crash had gone exactly as planned, but there had been one flaw The Widow hadn't foreseen. She had expected the third person in league with Morse and the female Captain America to be in the building with them, not approaching her position quickly and stealthily. Had the plane Batgirl jumped out been directly overhead and not had a working silencer in the motor, she might have heard. But, as it was, the only indication of the enemy's arrival was a sharp prick on the back of the Widow's neck.
Reaching up, the Russian quickly brushed the dart loose. Picking it up from the ground, she realized what it was right when her vision started to blur. Whether it was due to the Red Room's serum coursing through her veins or due to something else entirely, the Widow did not fall unconscious as both Batgirl and Bobbi would have hoped, but she was staggered. Horribly so. Enough that the world went sideways and blurred rapidly out of focus.
Bracing herself up against a nearby lamppost, the Widow looked up, a bit dazed, when she heard someone call her name. Natasha? That had been her name, yes? No….. no, she had many names. Natasha was only one of them. Forcing herself to keep going, the Widow turned to face the direction the voice had come from, steading herself long enough to focus and aim her pistol. That in itself was a difficult job as the target was moving more than usual. "Stand…. Stop, and I will take you in," she slurred, trying to keep her eyes open.

Bobbi watched Natasha she was horribly drunk, well it looked like it even though she wasn't at all. On the bright side the redhead wasn't aiming anywhere near her like Natasha had thought she went quickly to grab the gun and unload it before grabbing a hold of her friend. "Take me in? You can't even see straight, let alone aim straight you drunk Russian monkey. Come on, we're getting you out of here." she reached out to grab a hold of the woman to wrap an arm around her. Before they could get anywhere a plane had appeared out of nowhere, which was kind of cool and creepy, but she soon realized it was Lady Blackhawk and not one of superjerk's flunkies coming to take her in. Now came the fun part of trying to get Natasha on the plane. "Left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot." Bobbi said, hoping Natasha could follow and move on her own.
Batgirl made short work of the Winter Solider she tossed the man over her shoulder and lead Stephanie out of what was left of a building. Batgirl was talking to Red Robin and Spoiler to get there and take whatever was left of Bruces gadgets and move them to a new place before Kal's men got there and took it all. She placed Winter Solider on the plane next to Natasha before getting and moving up to the cockpit to sit with Zinda as they took off heading back to Gotham city where they had everything they needed to unbrainwash these two. And hopefully they'd join them in trying to put a stop to Superman's terror and free the world from his iron grip.

The Widow struggled as Bobbi grabbed and disarmed her in rapid succession. Whatever was in the drug was messing with her senses, making it seem as if the blonde was moving faster than she could. A small part of the Widow frowned at that, knowing Bobbi would tease her like she was now… drunk Russian monkey? The Widow shook her head, trying to clear it of such errant thoughts. But doing so simply sent the world spinning, making her want to cling tightly to the blonde. She should fight. She had to. Kal would be disappointed and that was never a good thing. But, whether it was due to the drug or just the simple fact that in her current state, the Widow's mind was even more susceptible to influence, so she obediently, albeit drunkenly, walked with Bobbi and entered the plane.
Zinda took the opportunity to look back at her passengers as they boarded, giving the redhead a rather intense gaze. "Exactly how out of it is she? I don't want to be wrestling for control of my baby in mid-air." Frankly, Zinda, though not one to give up easily in a fight, wasn't exactly for this idea of dragging two brainwashed to their secret hideout in hopes of being able to knock some sense into them and get them back to normal. "You just make sure she can't go anywhere and I'll make sure this flight is a quick one, ya hear me?"
It wasn't until much later that the Widow came out of her drug-filled stupor, but by then she was already someplace different and tied, rather professionally, to a chair. She tested her bonds but found them to be incredibly secure. Looking around, the room was empty save for her original target. Bobbi had been leaning against the opposite wall waiting for her to wake up. On the table beside her were various implements including, but not limited to: knives, hammers, scalpels, two rather long nails, a pair of heavy shock gauntlets, and various other items hidden under cloth. The Widow watched as Bobbi considered each tool. Torture was nothing new to her, and she had no intention of talking, no matter what they did to her.
Eventually, the blonde put on the gauntlets, flexing them slightly as electricity crackled from the fingertips. If she spoke, the Widow didn't remember. All she knew was pain as her muscles seized up from the high voltage coursing through her body. Bobbi's hands didn't stay in one place for very long. They kept moving as if searching for something or not truly wanting to do permanent damage to the Widow. Or at least that was what she thought up until Bobbi placed a hand on the back of her neck. Up to that point, the Widow had maintained some level of control, but now she screamed from the intensity and searing pain. She heard, or perhaps felt, a soft pop coming from the back of her neck. Then, as if wires were cut, the Widow blacked out.
Natasha came to in a bed. She didn't know how she got there or even where she was, but she felt weak beyond compare. Even keeping her eyes open was a chore. Shivering, she slowly curled up under the covers, mumbling something in Russian. Only then did she see Bobbi sitting in a nearby chair. At that she smiled a little, showing exactly how out of it she was. Spies usually smirked rather than smile.

Man oh man, what night this turned out to be all she wanted to do was go to sleep, but she couldn't yet so Babs began pumping her full of coffee to keep her awake until Natasaha woke up. While she waited until her friend wake up it left her mind to wonder about the things that had happened earlier that night. The next time she had to go to a lab that was outside Gotham she was going to be armed to the teeth just in case this happened again. Hopefully she wouldn't be fighting anymore brainwashed friends. Bobbi always hated having to fight her friends she had done enough of it when she had been a prisoner of the Skrulls, it was the only thing she could do to remind herself that none of it was real they had just made it all up to fool her. She had been one of the first to be replaced mainly because she didn't have any powers made it easy kind of made her feel pointless really.
Bobbi pulled her mind out of that spot not wanting to go there again the last thing anyone needed was for her to fall apart or actually lose her mind what was left of it. Finishing off her coffee, she set the empty cup down on the small table next to her that's when she noticed Natasha had moved. Getting up, she made her way over to the bed, laying down next to the Russian redhead. She wasn't worried anything might happen Babs had given her one of the 5-U-93-R pills to take just in case the unbrainwashing didn't work. That way, if Natasha tried anything she'd just be breaking her hands on Bobbi's face and not breaking Bobbi's face with her hands. "Morning sunshine." she said as she looked over at the smiling redhead which kind of freaked her out Natasha didn't smile like at all at most she smirked which made her wonder what the woman was thinking or plotting.

Natasha wasn't plotting or thinking anything. In fact, the more her head cleared, the more that odd little smile vanished. But perhaps cleared wasn't the best way to describe how she felt. Yes, she was awake, but she found that, as she tried to recall what had happened over the past few….. days? Weeks? She wasn't sure how long, as there were long gaps in her memory. It was like trying to remember a dream. Bits and pieces felt right, but she couldn't say for certain what happened exactly.
When Bobbi spoke, Natasha quickly pulled her close and held her tight. That's when the shaking started. Silent, uncontrollable, shaking. She had, occasionally, suffered gaps in her memory. It was a result of her training and mental programming the Red Room placed on her. It had gotten particularly bad during a period of time after Viper had subjected her to torture, though that had been more about mentally separating who she was from the other persona her mind had created in order to save her sanity. This was something else entirely. Everything was a fog, with only the slightest sense of deja vu as she tried to recall events, giving her vague clues of what had happened. She had been ordered to find and kill someone? No... not initially. Find. Capture. Interrogate, with torture if necessary, then dispose of the body. The way her stomach tightened, Natasha knew those had been the orders.
Holding Bobbi in her arms was an anchor point for her mind, something she could concentrate on and see as safety if her head and eyes started to play tricks on her. "How…. how bad was it? What did I do?" Truthfully, she didn't want to know, but she had to. If she started avoiding the consequences of her actions, whether they were her fault or not, she wouldn't be able to stop. "Who did I kill?" she whispered, trying to keep her voice from trembling.

Bobbi wrapped her arms around Natasha just holding her, but didn't say anything she had learned long ago to just wait until her friend was ready to talk about it. So that's what she did, she held her and waited, knowing Natasha would have questions over what happened. "Bad enough the urge to kick your teeth in was pretty high. You tried to kill me and Stephanie Rogers, she's from an earth where Steve was born a woman." She let that sink in for a bit before she started talking again explaining what she knew at least. "You tried to kill us with a garbage truck while your fake Russian boytoy Winter Solider tried to sneak in through the back of the building and finish the job if the truck didn't kill us. Thankfully Batgirl had our backs and knocked you silly before kicking Winter's ass."
"Sadly, I don't have an answer to that question. I haven't been around you the whole time we've been here. I don't know if I was your only target or if there were other's before me. But I do know who brainwashed you we got our hands full with this one. I also have a gift for you when you're ready for it and trust me, you will want it." If Natasha wanted to put the hurt on the person who had brainwashed her she would want the gift Bobbi had for her. "If you want to survive here you will need this gift." She didn't want Natasha to say no but she wasn't going to force it on her right now so she would wait until she was ready for it.

"If you ever do manage to kick my teeth in, you're paying for the best dental surgeon in the world to repair them," Natasha told Bobbi, trying to make light of the situation. Unfortunately, the joke did nothing to really lighten her mood. "Steve's a woman? Does the mean we're men on her world or was it just her who changed?" That was an interesting bit of unexpectedness and she made a mental note to meet this Stephanie later on when she was feeling better. Sparring with strangers did always seem to help her mood.
"Bucky? James is here? Is he okay?" The last thing they needed was for a mind-controlled Winter Soldier to crash their little safe house. Death by garbage truck? That was a new one Natasha had never considered before. She quietly tried to remember the events as Bobbi described them, recalling something about hot-wiring a large vehicle and have it crash into a building. "Battering ram?" she half asked, not really intending it to be a question, just stating things out loud.
"Give me the name of who did this. I'll deal with it so you don't have to. I'm not letting my friends get killed on my account." Yes, she was bullheaded and this conversation was one she and Bobbi, among countless other teammates, had had before. Natasha was not going to be held responsible for more preventible deaths. Did she believe this gift of Bobbi's would truly help her? No, not really. But then again, she also knew Bobbi was stubborn, and while she wouldn't force her into taking the gift, whatever it was, she would keep bringing the subject up until Natasha either accepted the gift or did something drastic enough to get her to drop it entry. "What is this gift?"

"Sure only if you replace my kneecaps that you break it's only fair you know." Bobbi replied, looking over at the redhead "Oh yeah boobs and all. No idea, but we're still women and married... To each other and we have children that we adopted." Bobbi still didn't know what to think about that she didn't know what Natasha would say about it either it may or may not be a good thing. Hopefully Natasaha didn't take it as a bad thing.
"Yeah, he's probably feeling about as well as you are." They didn't leave him brainwashed that would be insane they managed to undo it like Natasha. She just hoped Bucky won't try and kill Stephanie for being Captain America even though she isn't the one he knew she still was Cap. "Maybe more sore he did get beat up by Batgirl." Bobbi nodded "Probably, it would have worked if we didn't have help and you getting drugged and staggering about like a drunk."
"His name is Clark Kent or Kal-El or Superman. Take your pick, but if you go after him like you are, now you'll just end up shattering every bone in your body before you could even remotely hurt him." Bobbi reached over to the night stand picking something up before handing it to Natasha it was a pink pill with glowing white strips. "It's called 5-U-93-R. When taken, increases the tensile strength of bone and tissue structures by a factor of several thousand, giving an average human superhuman strength and durability on the level of Superman. Both sides have been taking it." She handed it over "So if you want to stand a ghost of a chance in this world your going to have to take it just like the rest of us." she was ready for the dozen or more questions Natasha was probably going to ask her about it. "I've already taken it." If anything bad was going to happen it would have happened to Bobbi by now.
She explained everything to Natasha starting with whole Superman thing and ending with their battles so she knew what was going on and what had happened. She knew Natasha didn't like being in the dark about things like this. She laid there for a long time before speaking again "It makes you rethink a lot of things doesn't it?" Superman was the greatest hero this world had and now he was he the greatest enemy they ever had.

Natasha considered what Bobbi said for a moment before finally nodding in agreement. "If I ever intentionally break your kneecaps I will replace them with the best ones money can by. Diamond studded or adamantium?" The news about them being married and having children was a bit of a surprise for Natasha. She had never considered have offspring, whether biological or otherwise. Not recently anyways. There had been a point in time, before taking the Red Room's serum where she had a child, but that was a long time ago and she was a different person entirely. For a long time, the Russian woman was quiet as she thought things over. "I think I would like to meet this Stephanie at one point," she finally said.
"You drugged me? That was how you beat me? No wonder my head feels like it's mush. The great Bobbi Morse can't take out her teammate without resort to drugs," Natasha commented, shaking her head at the news. She then winced at the pain the sudden movement caused her. "Batgirl and Mockingbird? And now the Black Widow. Are we creating an entirely animal based team? Because, if so, James will need to change his codename." A poor joke, really, but what else could she say about all this?
Natasha looked at the pill and then back at Bobbi, not truly believing what her friend was saying. As soon as she saw it, the first thing that came to the Russian's mind was if Bobbi was using it as well. Naturally, her question was answered even before she could ask it. So, she went for the second one in her head. "Are you insane? You just took this pill without any questions? What about side effects? What about adverse reactions to our biologies? We may all be human, but we may not be exactly the same as people on this world. What about… how do we know if it'll react positively to any agents and serums already existing in our blood and DNA? I can already lift five hundred pounds, I don't get sick, and I perform at peak human capabilities. I don't like being used and experimented on, Bobbi. You know that. And I would have thought you wouldn't like to play guinea pig either. But here you are, already trying to sell a drug to someone you've essentially just undrugged."
The Russian listened to the full backstory that Bobbi provided, waiting until she was finished to provide her opinion of the story. "No, not really. I've seen good men turn, Bobbi. It's more common than you think. It merely amounts to the degree of change. One man thinks he can do better than everyone else in the world. Perhaps he writes a book or a speech. Perhaps it's just a change in procedure or refusing an order, changing a law, causing a revolution, staging a coup, moving from elected president to a self-appointed dictator. Some realize what they're doing is evil, but most don't. They feel justified with what they're doing. Most don't question their decisions, but some do. Like me, for example. You have no idea how many times I question and rethink my decisions over and over each day."

"Adamantium all the way." If she was going to need new kneecaps might as well get one's that wouldn't break ever. Natasha took that a lot better than she thought she would....maybe. "She's here somewhere I'm sure you'll run into her sooner or later." It did make Bobbi wonder what Natasha wanted to meet Stephanie for other than meeting a female Captain America. Though the thought of Steve with boobs was still amusing yet still weird. But the woman staved her ass more than once she had nothing bad to say about her.
"No Batgirl drugged you I shocked the shit out of you a lot. Both here and out in the field when you tried to bust my kneecaps." In a way Bobbi did get her back for the leg abuse when they were in the city. "Two things. One I didn't know who Bucky or Winter Solider was, so I called him Raccoon Man and two Batgirl's team is called the Bird's of Prey, which Bucky can't be apart of." He didn't have the right body parts to be apart of the team but that didn't mean he couldn't help them if he wanted to.
Bobbi gave Natasha a look when she went on her little rant about guinea pigs "Once upon a time before I became a spy for S.H.I.E.L.D. And long before I became an Avenger I was a biologist. Shocking, I know I was pretty damn good at it. Surprisingly, after all of these years I still know how to science. But what's inside is Nanotech I know you have issues with it, but we don't have much of a choice in the matter." yes, she knew Natasha was going to argue with her about it. "You try and run and Superman will know you were unbrainwashed and he will kill you. Or have everything you've seen while here ripped out of your mind, which is just as painful if not worse than death."
"Yeah, well this one is as powerful as they come and very little can hurt him and more than a few people fear what he can and will do. He became a being powered by the fear of millions of people and he slaughtered thousands of people." Bobbi explained just how bad things are in this world they had been dragged into.

"Adamantium kneecaps, it is," Natasha agreed. Did she have the money to do such an operation if it called for? Possibly. She would likely have to drain more than a few of her accounts, but naturally that would all come down to if they ever got back to their own world. Or if adamantium was more common, and cheaper than, than dirt here. As of right now, the former seemed more likely.
"Would it help if I apologized and claimed innocence by way of mind-control?" she asked. In the past, a few villains and heroes had tried that defense before. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Either way, it usually hurt the affected team both physically and emotionally. "Raccoon Man?" Natasha's lips twitched into a brief smile before the laughter started. It wasn't a great big belly laugh as she had never been prone to those, but rather just a soft and relaxed chuckle as she thought of the idea regarding Bucky as Raccoon Man. "All woman group?" she asked, not really guessing nor caring if her answer was correct. She was simply trying to get her mind back to normal and the various subjects helped.
Unfortunately, the word nanotech was Bobbi's downfall. Hearing that technology mentioned, Natasha bolted upright and glared at her friend. "No. Plain and simple? No. I am not using any sort of nanotechnology in my body. That is the final word." It had been a year or two since the incident, but there had been a time where Natasha had, unknowingly, infected close friends with nannites which caused them to harm and kill loved ones while seeing Natasha's face. She had managed to save most of the infected, but for a few, she was too late. "I would rather take another DNA altering serum," she said firmly. "If you around worried about me that much, you shouldn't be. I won't run. I'll just disappear. You think I haven't done that before? I've hidden from the best. I can go deep enough that no one will find me, Bobbi. You know that."
What she was intending to say next, Natasha knew it likely wouldn't work, but she felt the need to voice this opinion as well. "We can always run. Tell whoever brought us her to send us back home. I know you won't like that, and neither do I, but this is not our fight."

"Maybe." Bobbi replied Natasha hadn't done anything overly bad as far as she knew other than annoying her or trying to destroy her legs and knees. The blonde then shrugged "I didn't know his name and he kind of looks like a Raccoon so it just stuck." If Raccoon Man didn't work she would have called him the one armed wonder. "Yep. Don't know why it's all female it seems to work pretty well." She hadn't really asked as to why the Birds of Prey was an all female group but she had a few idea's. Sooner or later she'll probably ask Babs or Zinda as to why its like that. On second thought she'd probably ask Zinda because Babs seems to have disappeared some place wherever she is Zinda seemed pretty mad not being told about it.
"Then you stay here at the base you aren't allowed out into the field." that was Babs rule, you either take it or your stuck here unless you were insane and thought you could make it out there on your own without it. "Oh yes, because we really have time to try and create something like that just for you." Bobbi snapped. "Disappear? Just how do you plan on disappearing from someone who comes from a highly advanced alien race that employ's other highly advance races! Hal Jordan and Sinestro both have computers so advanced they can find you wherever you're at." She didn't know why they hadn't found them yet, but it's probably because Bruce had created something to block them or some such.
"What are you going to do? Steal a space ship and travel to the center of the universe and threaten them to send us back? Oh wait we can't because Superman or his people will blow up the ship and kill us before we can even get it off the ground." As mean as it sounded it was true there was no way for them to get away from any of this not alive anyways death was their only escape in this world.

"Women sometimes tend to think things through better than most men do," Natasha suggested when talking about the Birds of Prey. She decided it was probably best to drop the whole discussion about Bucky and his various code names, otherwise she might tell Bobbi a few that she had given him while they were working together in Russian. If anything, he needed to be present so the humor could be fully appreciated.
"You're not letting me in the field?" Natasha couldn't believe this. "All because of me not wanting to take a pill filled with nanobots? What if my immune system compromises them? You know they scrubbed me clean, making sure there wasn't a single bot left in my body or where I sleep and work. How do you think they keep it from happening? What if I'm in the middle of something and they just stop working?" This wasn't Natasha's fear that was talking, it was plain and simple logic. At least to her. Over the years, she had learned to be cautionary and reassured when it came to new tech, particularly if it dealt with her body.
"Highly advanced technology and races and they can't find us? I don't honestly believe it. Either they're not that advanced or this little grouped is not that much of a threat to them," Natasha stated, answering a question she didn't know Bobbi had thought. "We could find a way to bring them here," she offered. But getting signal to the center of the universe? That might be difficult. "Let me guess, these people at the center of the universe, though highly advanced, are mainly pacifist, or at least are the type to not want to fight for themselves, so they involve other people, dragging them into the conflict. Right?"

"I think it's more than sometimes. We don't have a second head that get's in the way of things like men do." Could be another reason why the Birds of Prey were women only. Didn't need men trying to sleep with the women when they needed to get things done. She raised a brow over what Natasha had said before she took the redhead's hand and shook it "Hello, my name is Barbara Morse I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Ph.D. in biology I worked on recreating the Super-Soldier formula it created Captain America. I met him once he's a really nice guy kind of cute too." the sarcasm was strong in this one. "I also heard the Russians had part of the formula to use on this all women group called the Black Widow's. I wonder how someone like me could help a redheaded Black Widow with her nanobot problem hmmm....I wonder...." it seemed the super spy forgot that Bobbi still scienced when she wasn't out kicking butt or saving the world.
"Batman was a paranoid guy and he made plans upon plans in case Superman or any of his other superhuman friends decided to go to the dark side of the force. If anyone was a threat to Superman it'd be Batman and if I have to guess why we're not all dead right now is because the big blue asshole has his hands full with a whole new group of superhuman's that landed in his lap" She didn't know why Batman hadn't put a stop to Superman yet maybe something happened? She didn't know. "Yeah, kind of only they lead a group called the Green Lantern corps or space cops kind of like the Nova guys back home only greener. They have these rings they're like super computers powered by willpower they can pretty much do anything you can think of. Most powerful weapon in the universe.
