"You might have had the power, but you lacked the wisdom in how to use it right." Athena replied as she tossed the axe to one side. While watching what was going on she had already figured out most of what was going on but even she wouldn't know who the redhead's father was even if she already knew the mother. She knew it wasn't Ares that much she could tell. But she didn't say anything, it wasn't her place too, so she stood off to the side watching, what was going on with Baba.
Kaileena walked over to the two getting down on her knees, she looked down at the still tiny war goddess before looking at Circe "In another time and place you are my mother. I somehow ended up here well Asgard before I was teleported to Aeaea before being attacked by Hippolyta. Your right, I'm not I'm the thing war fears." Okay, she might have tormented Ares in the afterlife after bribing Hades. The guy didn't like him so it wasn't hard to get him to agree and he wasn't a fan of the other gods so he wouldn't tell them. Would she tell Circe, who her father was? Sure, she could because Circe had turned her father into a man to do the deed and a number of times after that she could tell Circe about the male version of her father and she'd never be able to tell the difference.
"Your welcome." Kaileena held her hand over Hippolyta's throat speeding the healing up. "I don't know what happened to you Hippolyta, but I will tell you this whatever you plan on trying to do to Circe you best forget it. Because I will stop you one way or another and I killed the Ares of my earth when I was ten." Yes she knew it was her father who had actually killed Ares but it was her power that made Zarda kill him and it was Kaileena's meltdown that lead to all of this happening. If Ares hadn't been such an asshole none of this would have never happened.

All the power and none of the training. Athena had that right. At the time, Circe had simply used brute strength to push her spells into existence and spin her plans into motion. There was no subtlety to her planning. Had she taken the time to study more, maybe her dreams and desires wouldn't have crumbled as they did. She had learned since then. Patience was a virtue and having such a long life that was no longer tethered to a few lines of prophecy, that allowed her time to think, plan, wait, and, in the case of the past five years, hide.
She killed Ares? Circe had never had a child powerful enough to kill a god, let alone do it at the age of ten. So many things ran through her head. Questions upon questions. But knowing your future was perhaps not the best knowledge to have, because her words were not even the least bit false. Circe's magic allowed her the ability to tell if someone were lying. "We will speak more on this later. More for my benefit rather than yours. For now, we have more pressing matters to attend to," she said, looking down at Lyta's tear-streaked face. Pull a cloth from mid-air, Circe wiped her child's face clean before changing her armor into more appropriate and normal looking clothes. That was an action the little goddess did not enjoy, as a growl of frustration passed her lips, yet she made no move to fight at all physically.
Had this been anyone else, a prisoner, an enemy, someone she had no love for, it would have been easy to know how to handle them in this situation. But this was her child; the one person she loved most in the world. She didn't want to hurt her. With a sigh, Circe looked around at the three other women. Two would likely not leave anytime soon, and the other? Athena would come and go as she pleased. All gods did.
Glancing skywards, Circe made up her mind. "I suggest we move indoors. If the news of two godly deaths has not reached the ears of the Olympians, or been felt by them, then whatever Athena sent Diana to do to the Amazons will certainly draw an unwanted gaze towards my island. I will make sure the accommodations inside are suitable and, as a precaution, I invoke the rites of guest hospitality. You do remember what those are, correct?" she asked Lyta, who simply nodded after a moment of silence. "Good." Had she not, Circe would have been forced to take other precautions. Not that she wouldn't anyways, but at least this established a sort of trust between the two of them.
Once inside, Circe placed a hand on the frame of the entry door and muttered a few simple words. The changes started slowly but wreckage, debris, and five years of the palace being unkept disappeared, turning the interior pristine while the exterior remained in shambles, affording them some protection and camouflage. However, one area of the house did not change entirely back to its original state. Had you not been familiar with the layout of Circe's home, you would not have noticed the difference, but a wall along one hallway remained smooth and unremarkable where, years ago, there had been a stairway leading down to her most treasured and protected workshop. The Amazons had not managed to find it in all the the years of searching and the sorceress intended to keep it that way. She was the only one who could make that door appear, and it needed to be done willingly.

Lyta laid there, watching the women as they talked, hoping they would reveal something, anything, she could use as information to take back to her sisters when she escaped. The redhead must have read her mind, for the threat she issued made Lyta stop and rethink her options. She was terrified of this woman being able to kill a god at such a young age while she was still firing arrows at fruit for target practice at the age of ten. She would not attempt an escape, not yet at least, and she mentally prepared herself for any torture imaginable.
However, what she received was kindness. The witch dried her tears while looking as if she herself were about to cry. Confusion momentarily blossomed on Lyta's face, but was washed away by rage when her armor disappeared. That had been hers! Given to her on her fourteenth birthday, not even a year ago! She wanted to scream, to cry out against this indignity, but all that came forth was a growl of displeasure. She should have bitten the redhead's hand while she healed her throat, but who knows what would have happened? Her mother, Diana, would not have been so easily taken.
So lost in her own thoughts she had been, Lyta barely realized that the witch had been talking to her. Guest hospitality? She was using that instead of chains and a dungeon? She was stuck. Refuse and Circe would have every right to do as she pleased to her, but if she accepted, she was honor bound not to cause her host any harm or be a burden upon her. The second option might garner her more information, so, reluctantly, she accepted.
As soon as the witch had cast her spell on the dilapidated palace, Lyta found herself a spot in the corner and sat there, head down. That was when the smells hit her. Myrrh, cloves, honeyed spices, and wine; the ingredients to her mother's perfume. Sunbaked stones and laurel leaves intermingling with the ocean and incense. It smelled like home. But Themyscira smelt nothing like that. rather it was a combination of leather, steel and hardwood. Trampled grass and smoke mixed with ointments and oils and heated braziers. That was what home was. Why were these softer scents affecting her so? Why did it make her want to curl up and cry? She did not raise her head, choosing to keep it bowed so the others could not see the new tears in her eyes. This was a torture worse than anything she could have imagined. Lyta wished she had chosen the chains over kindness.

Before they could get too far inside Athena could already feel them "They're coming." she pointed out she was going to have to go to war again. "I'll handle it with only two rules everyone stays out of my line of sight at first and don't come and help me no matter what happens." Kaileena told them "But I will need a hand from Athena." She whispered her request in the war goddesses ear. It was a strange request, but she waited until Kaileena was outside and the other gods had appeared "You want Athena and Circe you'll have to go through me first." this caused the gods to laugh just as Athena casted her spell. A voice only Kaileena could hear began tormenting the young goddess. Kaileena closed her eyes as tight as she could, her hands over her ears trying to block it out, but it wouldn't go away or stop until finally the dam broke, she screamed as her full magic unleashed itself her once red hair turned black her clothing changed as well a dark green leather corset black leather pants and matching boots.
The laughing gods had stopped as they watched what happened to the young woman. "What got nothing to laugh about now?" she attacked them unlike other people who would just knock them out she killed them. It wasn't for the faint of stomach to watch such a thing. There was only one she let live, it was Hera, who for some reason thought her own army could stop this god killer. Before they could do anything Kaileena raised her hand, unleashing her powers causing them to stop whatever they were doing. If you could see their eyes, they would be all black for a few seconds until they returned to normal "Command me mistress." They said as one. "Repair the island and get rid of those bodies. Expect you Hera I want you to wash my feet." Kaileena said as a chair appeared behind her that she sat in and waited for the queen of the gods to get to work as she did Kaileena pulled herself out of the Con Dar state her red hair returning clothes changing and her bright blue eyes could be seen once more.
Athena and Baba just stood there watching the whole thing the two didn't know what to say about what had just happened. Athena did wonder how such a child could come from Circe when Hippolyta wasn't even close to being in the same league of power even with Ares side of power. It did make her wonder what kind of man had such power that could be passed onto his daughter.

Stay out of her line of sight? Circe would do one better; she'd stay inside and let the redheaded woman handle it all. It didn't matter that she was her child, Circe knew better than to try and stop her children. They were all headstrong and stubborn. If it happened that the woman failed, Baba and Athena would likely provide the next level of defense. If those two fell, Circe would be gone by then. Where to? She didn't know exactly, nor did she truly know whether she'd take Lyta with her. All she knew was she was in no state to deal with the wrath of the Olympians.
Thankfully, as well as surprisingly, the battle was over quickly. Circe sensed when the gods landed, as well as becoming aware of a massive surge of power from the redhead. After that, the sorceress was shocked as the gods fell one by one, leaving only the late-arriving Hera and her small army. Circe waited for the same thing to happen to them, but instead there was an odd sensation; something that wasn't quite magic but neither was it natural power. She felt it wash over the attacking force and almost immediately they became docile. Compliant. That caused her to venture out of her home and stand in awe with Athena and Baba.
There she was, relaxing in a chair as the queen of the gods knelt before her and obediently washed her feet. The rest of Hera's army was making themselves busy disposing of the bodies or cleaning up the area. "What did you do? That was not a spell of any sort. I…" Walking over, Circe tilted Hera's face up and looked her in the eye, noting no obvious change in the goddess other than the obedience. "Mind control?"

Hippolyta couldn't help smiling at the news of the fast approaching gods. She felt their anger and it refreshed her, giving her hope that not only would she be rescued but that she would be able to feed of the violence and power created by the battle and deal out a little retribution of her own. But, as quickly as the fight had started, it was over just as fast. It was as if a cord had been cut. Hippolyta felt the gods die and the violence soon drained away, leaving her feeling hopeless and lost. "No… no, that wasn't supposed to happen…"
Getting to her feet and running outside, the little warrior was confronted with the carnage currently being cleaned up by Hera's personal army. The queen herself was busy the redhead's feet like some damned servant. This enraged Hippolyta beyond all doubt. "Murderer! Sacrilege! Heretical, blaspheming whore! Whatever you have done to the Queen of Olympus, I demand that it be undone. You wish to face a child of warcraft, then face me!" she yelled, eyes blazing red and her bonds crackling as she strained against them. "Release me, witch, so I can send this desecrating harlot to Tartarus!"

Kaileena looked up at Circe as she made her way over to them "It's not mind control that can be broken. This can't, not really at least. I can tell her to live her life as she normally did, but that's as close to freedom as she would get. I'm the only one out of my siblings that can do this I don't know why I'm the only one except my father seemed to think the first born of two powerful races are more powerful than the children that come after. I don't know if that's actually true or just talk." she explained the best she could without telling her everything this was going to be a pain in the butt.
Kaileena looked back at Lyta, who decided to join them, but in a fit of rage, she looked back at Circe before raising a hand to stop her from doing anything. Pulling her feet away from Hera, she got up, walked over to her would be younger sister a hand behind her back using her speed she snapped it around Lyta's neck. "Lovely little choker, my mother had made it for me when I was younger, I had....issues with some of my powers and to keep me from hurting anyone she created that. Only it didn't work just on me it works on any magic user cutting them off from their magic, leaving them human and only my parent's can unlock it." It had never been used in many, many years, but something like that was hard to get rid of plus it'd be handy in case something happened like this. "And now I give it to you, do take good care of it. Sis." Was she worried that Lyta would try and kill her the normal way? No her fighting skill was lacking.

Circe raised an eyebrow at what the redhead said. Not about the powers, though that was of a mild interest to Circe, but rather that she was a first born child of hers and that the redhead had siblings. So in the very least, this wasn't the product of a one night stand. Circe would eventually find love in the future? She had to laugh at that. "We will most definitely need to talk about your father. But… as for Hera, what will you do with her?"
Unfortunately her question was interrupted by Lyta. This would be a difficult trial for them all. Whatever the Amazons had done to her daughter, they had done it rather well and very thoroughly. She was entirely in their thrall and it disgusted Circe. However, the redhead seemed to have the situation entirely in hand, and the effect was incredible. One moment, Circe could feel the rage born magic pouring off of Lyta and the next, once the choker snapped around her neck, there was nothing. It was as if Lyta was mortal. The child knew it too. The expression on her face was priceless. Filled with confusion, she looked at her opponent in disbelief. Taking the opportunity the teach her child a gentle lesson, Circe dissolved the bonds around her wrists, and hoped her child would take the all too tempting bait. "You know, in dueling, it's proper manners to give your opponent your name. At least be courteous enough to provide it to Lyta or, at the very least, myself." She was getting tired of thinking of this woman as 'the redhead'.

Hippolyta was ready for anything this woman had to offer, even with her hands tied. She eyed her warily, body tense and ready to spring away from whatever she had behind her back. However, there was not enough time or speed to avoid the choker being placed around her neck.
The effect was instantaneous. There she was, ready to unleash hell, the rage she was producing was enough to at least give her an ample start before the natural violence of the fight would begin to feed her abilities. But, as the cool metal surrounded her neck, it was as if everything was sucked from her very being. Hippolyta was suddenly fatigued. Her throat hurt and her body ached, a sensation she had not felt in the longest time. Worst of all, she felt empty. That was the only way she could describe it. Before, there had been a vast well of power inside her. One she could feel growing little by little every day, but now there was nothing. She was hollow.
Blinking back tears, Hippolyta tried in vain to summon all her rage, but the meager result only made her that more tired, doing nothing to sustain her. However, to her surprise, her bonds were broken, allowing her full use of her hands. Ignoring the sore wrists, Hippolyta brought forth a battle axe, calling it to her hands. Or she tried to. The magic was not there. More upset now than enraged now, she leapt at the woman, knowing her hand-to-hand combat would still be effective to a point.

It wasn't hard for Kaileena to figure out what Circe was laughing at she knew her mother "Laugh it up Circe you'll be taking it back later." did she know her father was on this earth? No, but there was a pretty good chance she was around some place just waiting to run into Circe. They probably wouldn't mix very well at first, but eventually they will then they wouldn't be able to keep their hands off each other. But until then she would have to play games with Circe. "Oh, if only you knew Circe, if only you knew. I would say I'm not allowed to talk about the future....but this doesn't look to be the past of my earth." Because Hippolyta wasn't a crazy pain in the ass. "Do with her? Whatever I want she's forever loyal to me and no one else."
Kaileena watched Lyta's reaction to what she had done to the young war goddess before looking over at Circe "My name is an old one that was my grandmother's on my father's side you can call me Kalieena or Kai either works." she went back to watching Lyta to see what she would do next, she was trying to call on something weapons most likely. When that didn't work she leapt at her Kai avoided her hands and caught her around the stomach with one arm while using her free hand to keep Lyta's hands away from her face. "Had you been better trained I might have actually been in trouble. It's been a few thousand years since I've been in combat." Kai was rusty when it came to combat at the moment which has to say something if she could kill the gods and be out of fighting shape. She set Lyta down before pointing a finger at her "Behave." she said just as a white raven flew past Circe to land on Kai's forearm.
"Hugin? How on earth did you get here?" she looked at the bird confused, he was powerful, but she didn't think he was that powerful. "I came through the door you used to come here." she just gave him a blank stare "That you apparently don't know anything about. It's a one way door, they're working on making it a two way to bring us back home until then Amora told me to babysit you." this cause Kai to frown, she was going to have to talk to her wife about that whenever they get back home she didn't find it funny. "Maybe Athena should have gotten herself a raven instead of an owl. Hugging can talk, but Pallas can't utter a single word. Not very smart if you ask me." Baba finally spoke up only to get glared at by the goddess of Wisdom. "It's Hugin!" The white raven told Baba.

"Then I will recant my laughter later, whenever I meet this man and stay with him." Even as mirth and enjoyment was clear on her face, a brief flash of sadness was evident on Circe's features, only really noticeable to those who knew her well. A small part of the sorceress wanted to be happy. She had always wanted a family who had loved her and been there for her, but all of the men she had chased in the past either did not want her, or were entirely wrong for her and were the source of why she hated the gender. That hatred and dislike only seemed to reaffirm itself over the centuries. "Then you can tell me all about him this evening over dinner." As for the newly enslaved Hera, Circe simply shrugged at the answer. She didn't truly care about what happened to her. Looking over at Athena, she smirked. "I believe this means that Olympus is yours now. Have fun."
Kaileena. She didn't know that name. It sounded exotic, but then again that meant very little. At least she had a name though. Lyta, meanwhile, stopped her struggling almost as soon as she was caught by the redhead. Her efforts didn't even phase the woman and the results just made her body hurt more. When Kai set her down, she finally gave up and admitted defeat. The gods were either dead or enslaved and the same could be said most likely about the Amazons. Besides, the collar about her neck was apparently not coming off, as she could find no latch or seal around it. It was just one whole band of silver.
Upon seeing the bird, Circe for a moment thought it was a pet, but that was before she properly sensed what it was and before it spoke. This was just getting all the more interesting, particularly due to the name the raven uttered. She knew of Amora, but how Kai and her were connected, she would need to gather that knowledge herself. "Baba, you should know better than to insult ravens, especially those that share his name. Even without magic, these birds are intelligent and do not forget insults easily. Would it help if I looked at this portal? After I look for Baba's amulet, of course." She was not about to forget that woman's request.

"If it makes you feel better you two can hardly keep your hands off each other." she could have gone on more, but small and unwanted ears were around, although if Zarda was here she'd probably say it anyways not caring if it made Athena uncomfortable. "As you wish." she wasn't sure if Circe would do it, but she knew she was going to free her sister from whatever happened to her even if she had to do it alone. And maybe if she can find Zarda she could help too. Athena raised an eyebrow Circe was right, which reminded her about something she left unfinished. Using her powers she summoned someone who could do what she wanted within reason.
Lilith had just stepped into the shop she had wanted to look around for the owner so she could put in a special request "Son of a-" she disappeared before getting her request out before appearing in front of a group of women "Bitch..." she didn't know any of the women other than the tall blonde but just barely. "Why are you in Liesel Van Helsings body?" Athena questioned, but not really surprised by it. "Do you not see the irony of it? Me of all people inside a Van Helsings body?" Lilith laughed it didn't look like Athena found it funny. "Stop playing in her body I have work for you." The goddess didn't even crack a smile "Can't no thanks to superdick and his asshole squad. This is the only body I could find who hates my father. Beside now I'm all jiggly." she said, shaking her chest just to annoy Athena, who grabbed her by the neck lifting her off her feet "Change your appearance to how it should be or I'll take this body from you." Lilith rolled her eyes before changing her body to be taller more well built her skin paling her clothes becoming more form fitting as well as a dark shade of purple. "So what's this job you apparently think I need to take?" she crossed her arms over her chest "There's an island full of warrior women I want you to make them your children." Athena explained what she had in mind for the Amazons. "What do I get out of doing this for you?" she didn't care about having a new family or not she wanted to know what she got out of doing all of this work. "I'll remove your father from your life, leaving you to become the new lord." this got the other woman thinking "Throw in killing my baby brother and you have a deal and I don't want him coming back as some damn angel." Lilith held her hand out Athena shook it "Deal." Athena put her hand over Lilith's mouth keeping it there no matter how much the other woman struggled until she finally let her go. The blue of Lilith's eyes were now a bright red her fingers turning into claws. "What did you do to me?!?" she grabbed her head "Made you hungry. Don't worry you'll be back to normal when the last one has been turned." to bad Lilith didn't hear that she jumped at Circe ready to rip her neck open but disappeared in mid-air.
"My English isn't as well as I had hoped to me it sounded like she said, hugging." Baba had spent most of her life in Russia where they didn't speak English. "No birds share my name, it's my own. Munin has passed on from this world." the white raven explained to Circe that he had been in another life Odin's raven but after dying he became his own master but helped others when needed.

"I believe you, Kai, but as of right now, no that does not make me feel any better. Well…. perhaps a little," Circe admitted before turning her attention to the woman Athena had suddenly summoned. Exactly how many people was everyone intending to bring to her island? This was becoming just a little ridiculous. To top it all off, the newcomer didn't feel right to the sorceress. There was an odd discordance that was within her, almost as if there were two inside one; a possession of sorts. That thought was confirmed by their conversation. How Athena knew this woman, Circe had no idea, but she didn't like it.
Naturally, her unease was confirmed when the stranger launched herself at Circe's throat, hunger clear on her face, before the woman suddenly disappeared. "A vampire?! You bring a thing like that to my island and then you set it upon the Amazons?! I thought you sending the stone Diana to their island was going to take care of them. What if they survive? What if they turn? I'll have more problems to deal if that happens. No matter what world you're from, Athena, you've always caused me trouble. I am sick of your little games. Unless you have more wisdom to disperse or any actual help to give, I want you gone."
As for Baba Yaga, she would deal with her in shortly. Circe's temper was growing short and she was becoming irritable. "Is there any other unexpected news or visitors I should prepare for? More children, pets, portals? Things used to be so much easier and quieter," she growled. Taking a deep breath, she tried to center herself emotionally. "How did you and Kai come to know each other, Hugin?"

"Rather ingenious if you think about it." Baba finally spoke up after watching the two women before one had disappeared, she then poked Circe on the arm to get to look her way "You failed to realize something Circe." She pointed upwards to the sun that was still shining brightly "The vampire would be a crispy critter before Athena could send it to any island. Hell, it should have been one by the time it showed up here." Hugin landed on Baba's shoulder "Normally you would be right. But that wasn't a normal vampire. That was Lilith Dracul daughter of Dracula. She's more powerful than her own father and other vampires. She doesn't have their weaknesses any who are bit by her become obsessed with her. Even fully changed, they still have that obsession." he explained to the goddess "Though she does have a bipolar relationship with her father. Sometimes wanting him dead and hating everything about him in others she'll work with him without any problems and remind anyone who forgets that she's the daughter of Dracula and you should respect that else she'll kill you." Kai added in.
"If anyone else is going to show up from my time it'd probably be my wife. Who'd make sure I was alright before smashing me into the ground for being so stupid." She knew Amora would do that to her if she could ever get back to her. Hugin and Kai looked at each other briefly before he spoke "Kaileena and her family live in Asgard nearly her whole life still live there today. Hard to miss a child with such a temper as Kai had when she was younger. When it flared up it made Mount Vesuvius seem like a zit which is why the choker was needed." hanging around Kai and her family he did learn a few new words.

"Actually, you both fail to realize that not all things that fall under the broad grouping of vampire have the same weaknesses. Vrykolakas, Greek vampires, are disgusting little creatures that came front the Balkans. They barely have anything in common with vampires of the classical sense, but they are still grouped together," Circe explained. "Basically, if they thought a corpse would rise up from the grave and bother people, it was a vampire. As for Lillith, I still don't like what Athena has done. Unless you have a grand scheme, I still say kill the Amazons off quickly." Circe had a respect for things like vampires, as long as they respected her right back. If they didn't, and tried to encroach on her area or what she considered to be her domain, things would then get complicated and the sorceress would find ways to end their existence.
Circe blinked a little at the idea of her daughter having what seemed to be a violent wife. That was most certainly an odd thing to hear. "You married an Asgardian? I do hope…" she paused for a moment before taking a wild guess. "I never took Amora to be the physically violent type. I think she'd be afraid to break a nail, or has she changed that much after marrying you?" The fact that Kai and Amora, at least the one she knew, didn't seem right for each other made it almost seem laughably obvious that they were married, since opposites attract. "So you became friends with Kai due to her temper? That's an odd statement to make. But people, and animals, like to be on the proper side of power, don't they?"
