A few weeks ago Batgirl had been out running a solo mission after arguing with Zinda over going out alone without any type of backup. Just in case something were to happen. Unknown to the blonde pilot Babs had already put everything she owned in Zinda's name in case something did happen to her. If she had known about it, they would still be arguing to this day over that. Thankfully, she didn't and probably wouldn't until after Babs was in the ground rotting. But that was a story for another time. What she did find a few weeks ago was very intrusting she found a man who didn't look like he belonged like he came from another time turns out she was right, he was Italian from over five hundred years ago seeing he was lost and confused over everything Batgirl brought him to the bunker where they made a deal of sorts. She taught him of this time and a few other things in return, he taught her the ways of the assassin she knew a lot from Bruce but there were still a few things she could learn and she planned on making copies of some of his gear as well as updating his.
Babs fingers slipped from the ledge she had been holding onto causing her to come crashing back down to the earth, thankfully she didn't have to worry about getting herself hurt or killed from doing this. "Okay, maybe doing this when it's raining might have been a bad idea." she said as she pushed the rubble off her before getting up. It really was a good thing she couldn't get hurt because she had her head bounce off a few of the ruins of the Asylum. Had she been human her brain probably would have popped out of her skull laying on the ground somewhere. "I did try and warn you that we should have waited." Ezio replied as he walked over to her to check and see if she was alright it was out of habit. The only thing that had happened was her clothes ripped and caked in mud. "I know...I didn't think it'd be so bad." she brushed off some of the mud "I hate sitting around doing nothing." she flung the mud away "So I've noticed." he lead them back inside to the hidden ladder that took them down to the bunker.
Ezio was the only one that knew what Babs was up to he had given his word that he wouldn't tell anyone that included Zinda. The blonde knew her boss was up to something but no matter how many times she asked Babs wouldn't tell her this had caused many a fight between them. Lately, though Babs managed to get out of these fights by using Ezio it seemed Zinda had some kind of thing for him or something, whatever it was, it was enough to let her slip away and disappear before Zinda could start up the fight again. In other words she owed Ezio a lot when this was all said and done. She'd have to figure out what to do to make it up to him, maybe get him married to Zinda or something who knows. She didn't have to worry about that right now.
"Your going to have to tell her at some point." the master assassin pointed out "Not until I'm done otherwise she'll figure out how to chain me up or something." he chuckled at that answer "She cares a lot about you." he then frowned at what was said next "Or she just doesn't want to be alone." he shook his head "You two argue like an old married couple." Babs turned the corner "Don't let her hear you say that the last thing she would want is for people to think she's fancy." Ezio didn't say anything for a bit because he had to try and remember what that actually meant.
